They all are projects were our colored A-200 coating is applied. Tommy Hilfiger uses this coating to color their clothing displays with an industrial look, the Amsterdam Arena uses this product as a colored topcoating for concrete protection inside the stadium and as a protective coating for the metal stairs situated outside the stadium, in Haarlem they used the A-200 while repairing concrete balconies as a colored toplayer.

As a new addition to our productrange and range of supporting products we gladly inform you about our latest product: PU Topcoating

 

This 2-component polyurethane coating is the ideal topcoat for Liquid Rubber products. This coating ensures a transparent, easy to clean coating with an increased heavy duty protection. Ideal for indoor surfaces as well as outdoor surfaces. Such as galleries, footpaths and parkings.

The LR PU Topcoating is self-recovering, free of toxics and light-chemically resistant. It also has an increased resistance to UV radiation and other weather effects and it doesn't turn to powder.

Applicating is very simple: flawless and smooth rolling with a short-haired paint roller and direct backrolling with a very fine structure roller. In this way the Liquid Rubber underlay is protected against damages and guaranteed of color-fastness.

Wednesday the 7th of november Raab Karcher opened the Greenworks Academy in Breda to make this concept even more visible and present. Sir Eric Snijer, CEO of Saint-Gobain Distribution The Netherlands and Sir Hugo von Meijenfeldt, acting Director-General of Evironment at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Environment took care of the spectacular opening. This stylish and contemporary academy is realised in cooperation with leading suppliers of the construction business.

 

Liquid Rubber is one of those suppliers. A showroom that contains all kinds of in-home applications demonstrates various solutions for the use of Liquid Rubber, for example airtight sealing. The demonstration room offers visitors the possibility to experience themselves how easy it is to apply Liquid Rubber. The permanent showroom is always equipped with brouchures that contain product information.

 

The Greenworks Academy is an excellent facility for displaying business presentations and the physical application of the product. This makes it an excellent combination of theory and practice.

 

As a participant in this concept Liquid Rubber will regurarly make use of this facility. Follow our reports in the newsletters.

Every month we give updates about the projects that are realised by our applicators. Some are large (in terms of surface or in terms of liters), others are smaller, but they all show the many possibilities there are for application. Project                            : tiling with Liquid Rubber 

Verwerker                      : VCL, Lokeren (Belgium)  
 
Description:

As always, Liquid Rubber applicator VCL-Lokeren has been innovative and enthusiastic with our product.

 

This time they realised a project whereby a laundry room had to be tiled. The surface of this room consisted of 2 layers of USB plates, which were finished with a 2-component paint. Because of the timber construction in combination with the use of laundry machines in this room, a lot of floor movement is likely to occur. So you can imagine the motion and pressure that this floor suffers from!

 

VCL-Lokeren decided to tile with the HB S-200 Industrial, thin applied by a fine trowel. Despite of the fact that the small room is dense there was no smell nuisance and it was very easy to tile. Within a few hours the residents could walk over the tiles and after 48 hours the substance was dry enough to put pressure on.

 

After complete curing, the surroundings of the construction were sealed and the compartment was ready for use.

The past month Liquid Rubber is widely demonstrated at various trade shows and events. Attending a trade show is hard work but also always very pleasant. It is particularly instructive to be in direct contact with end-users and the sublime catering is and additional advantage. And it is also beneficial to the relationship with our distributors.

 

At the 9th of november we were present at the "Dikke Ribb'n Dag" of Raab Karcher (Rijssen, Holland). A very well-attended day organised for their customers, on which a number of suppliers could present their products.

 

The welcoming by the employees of Raab Karcher was warm, the number of customers was overwhelming and the catering was amazing. Our representatives had a great time doing their work!

 

At the 8th and 15th of November the atmospheric 'cellars of Cureghem' in the Belgian city of Anderlecht were the scene of two trade fairs. Formerly this location used to be a slaughterhouse, now the scene for the '5e Dag van het Dak' trade show and the 'Dag van de Afwerking' , with more than 400 suppliers and 2000 visitors. On both days our Belgian distributor, AXO Industries, was present with Liquid Rubber. At the 'Dag van de Afwerking' our other distributor, Bison Professional, demonstrated the retail product Griffon HBS-200 Liquid Rubber.

 

Both stands were well visited and as always the interest in the product was great. And to be honest... the catering alone is reason enough to visit events like this! So we hope to see you next time.

 

 

In our newsletters you will probably have read about our Belgian distributor AXO Industries. And you may have already visited their website: www.axoindustries.be. So then you know that they are suppliers of complete solutions for the finishing of constructions and that they work from their central warehouse in Ieper.

 

But new is the fact that they will open a pickup point of sale at this location in January 2013. Their experience learned them that contractors and entrepreneurs needed a pickup point of sale where they can buy products early in the morning or after the general working hours. Now these customers can pick up those last-minute orders from their trusted supplier. In case of sufficient demand AXO Industries will also be open on Saturday morning.

 

Because the customer's wish is their demand. And now the Belgian applicators will no longer have a valid excuse for not having Liquid Rubber!

 

 

It is already a year ago that we presented our WinterGrade. This products is an addition to our B-400 and HB S-200 Industrial coatings so they can be applied by temperatures below -10˚C/14˚F.

 

And now that the first snowflakes have fallen, we would like to remind you of this.

 

So: at cold surfaces or frost: Liquid Rubber WinterGrade!

 

 

 

 

December is traditionally a quiet month in the construction business. So although Liquid Rubber is a nice place to work, it is a good occasion to load our batteries. 

 

That is why we close our doors from the 24th of December untill the 6th of January. Monday the 7th of January the full Liquid Rubber team will be present again.

 

Of course we are always reachable for urgent orders or urgent questions. But please keep the holidays in mind and order your products before the 21st of December. Good preperation makes less work...
