We are proud to inform you that as of this year we have enlarged our distribution network with a new distributor, this time in Switzerland. 

 

The company Isovip will expand the 'black stain'. They are specialized in wall insulation. Further on in this newsletter you will get to know this company better in the section ''In the spotlight''.

 

Early January the entire sales team went on a 2-day training in the Netherlands. Besides all the theoretical knowledge about the products and pumps they also have seen several projects and attended a spray presentation. 

 

Now they are very busy with the preparation of promotional material and there are already several quotations made ​​towards their customers. It is great to see how excited these Swiss are about Liquid Rubber. 

 

Needless to say we are very happy with this expansion of our network and we wish our new partners a lot of success. We will keep you updated on their progress and projects in our upcoming newsletters.

 

Project                            : A-200 sprayed on private residence in Wondelgem (Belgium)

Description:
Liquid Rubber applicator VCL-Lokeren is as usual innovative and enthusiastic.

 

Recently they coated a residence in Wondelgem (near Gent, Belgium) with the A-200 and gave it a perfectly black finish. 

 

The facade was finished with panes of MDF. All the little holes were filled with putty and then the Basic Primer was applied as and adhesive layer. Then two layers of Liquid Rubber A-200 were sprayed on. 

 

The result looks neat and impressive. Unfortunately it will not stay like this for long. Soon decorative iron plates will be applied on the facade. These plates will have decorative holes so the Liquid Rubber can still be seen. Pictures of this end result will follow in the upcoming newsletter.

We have informed you regularly about our project in the Amsterdam Arena. 

 

Pictures of applicators working at the grandstand, sealed joints, stairs spraid with Liquid Rubber. These were all functional images to show you the progress in this project.

 

It was hard for us to convey how impressive it is to see your own product being used in a setting like the Amsterdam Arena. And how it feels to have your brand linked directly to such a world-famous environment. 

 

So imagine how cool it was when we came across a picture of Edwin van der Sar on the website of Ajax. He is talking about the renovation of the grandstand and is showing the new dug-outs. Nice story, but our attention was completely drawn to the black line next to Edwin...

 

 

This time we spoke with our new distributor Isovip GmbH in Wintertur, Switzerland. We give the floor to Jean-Philippe Ramseyer, owner and general manager.

 

"We are a trading company and subsidiary of Neofas AG. We are engaged in wall insulation".

 

"We supply high quality insulation panels (Vakutherm) all over Switzerland. We are also active in fastening technology and facade greenery".

 

''We had contact with another trading company that learned about Liquid Rubber at the Swissbau in Basel last year. They immediately saw the potential of the product but did not have the opportunity start it up themselves. We saw the added value to our assortment. That's why we contacted Liquid Rubber Europe and indicated that we were interested in becoming the distributor for Switzerland."

 

"The possibilities are endless! We have never known a product like this. We will introduce it to the market with a targeted marketing campaign, supported by Liquid Rubber Europe. Important here are reference projects. We want to show examples of realized projects in different countries. But soon we hope to build our own references to further convince the market."

 

 

"In 2013 we would like to start with projects. Naturally we will have to learn a lot, but that's normal right? We are going to inform and excite the Swiss market about Liquid Rubber. We will do our utmost to make the black stain bigger and bigger!"

 

We have informed you before that Saint-Gobain (the parent company of Raab Karcher) has sustainability high on its agenda and has developed the Greenworks concept especially to highlight this theme. In this concept they present products from suppliers that were selected based on the combination of quality and sustainability. A strict preselection makes sure that the products have to gratify to several criteria to qualify for the Greenworks label. For more information check www.greenworks.nu.

 

During the International Construction exhibition which takes place in Utrecht this week, Raab Karcher will fully focus on Greenworks. Suppliers will be interviewed daily about CSR. These interviews will be projected on a live screen the entire day, as will product presentations. You will also see Liquid Rubber in these presentations. But not only on screen... The chair on which the interviewees will be sitting is fully coated with Liquid Rubber A-200! 

 

100% environmentally friendly, without VOC's or solvents and in the Greenworks RAL-Colour... could we make it any greener??

 

... and that goes for spraying rubber too! A new lesson for our Belgian applicator, VCL-Lokeren. 

 

 

For some time now, Lliquid Rubber Europe employs students from the Higher Education for Business Economics in Amsterdam. We think it is important that young people gain experience in a working environment and at the same time, they offer us a different perspective and the opportunity to educate young talent. 

 

As of January this year a new trainee has joined our team: Auke Langstraat. Auke is in his final year and will join us for the next 4 months. On the basis of the first two weeks we have every confidence that he will be a valuable addition to our company. And who knows, maybe we do not want to let him go after 4 months...
