On Thursday 25 October, the main topic during the toolbox meeting in the construction cabin at project Cortinghborg (NL) was Liquid Rubber. In this project our coatings will be used for the air-tight sealing of frames and elements and as a coloured finish with an aesthetic purpose (see image below).

 

During the meeting, the workers at the construction site found out everyting there was to know about Liquid Rubber: the product characteristics, the many application possibilities, how to clean it and much more. Several samples were shown to illustrate the way of applicating, which caused a lot of response.

 

The men present were enthousiastic, asked many and good questions and got a good impression, thanks to the samples, of the application possibilities. It really was an interactive meeting and time flew by.

In this item we interview one of our distributors to share with you their experience with Liquid Rubber®.

This time we spoke with Bedal Bouwchemie from Genemuiden (NL).

We give the floor to Arwin Beens, owner and general manager.

 

"Bedal Bouwchemie is a young and dynamic company, situated in Genemuiden. We manufacture and supply adhesive construction products and we offer free consults on bonding, leakage in cellars, reparation of cracks and joints, anchoring of masonry and more. Through our years of experience in the construction segment we are able to give reliable and expert advise. We work for and supply to building and contracting companies, tiling companies, infrastructure companies and so on."

 

"A business contact told us about it and after a further acquaintance we were asked to become the distributor for the northern part of Holland. We then asked 3 possible applicators whether they would like to work with Liquid Rubber. After a presentation and training both we and the applicators were enthusiastic and we decide to go for it."

 

"We are especially enthusiastic about the numerous possibilities. Liquid Rubber can be applied on nearly every surface, is available in every RAL-colour and is environmentally-friendly. We supplied a lot of epoxy coating in the past, but the advantages of Liquid Rubber are better, especially the processing speed. And next to that it is also very sustainable".

 

"Liquid Rubber can be sprayed, what makes it unique. One can apply several layers in one day which is very important when working on a corridor or in staircases. Another important aspect is that Liquid Rubber can be cold applied, so it's safe to use at projects with a fire hazard. The product is environmentally friendly, an important topic these days."

 

"We see many opportunities in the so-called 'specials' like the construction of basements and the treatment of corridors and balconies. But also at placing solar panels on flat roofs we recommend Liquid Rubber. And we also are testing materials for the army."

 

"Mid October we participated at the BouwRelatieDagen in Hardenberg (a construction trade show). We have had lots of positieve reactions during these days and in the mean time we received our first orders!"
