Liquid Rubber® has been on the Dutch market now for 18 months. Despite the recession and the downfall in the construction segment we have managed to build a substantial distribution network in the professional retail. And at the same time the number of industrial projects is increasing, inspired by a few high-profile jobs such as the Schiphol-tunnel and the Amsterdam Arena (visit our website for more information on these projects).
Our vision is to let Liquid Rubber® become a leading concept for the construction and contracting segment within 3 years and to associate the name with quality, reliability and sustainability.
To realise this vision we have entered a unique partnership with Bison International B.V., worldwide supplier of high-quality solutions for glueing, sealing, coating and welding. Bison International holds a leading role in the European market with the following brands: Bison, Bison Professional, Griffon and UHU.
The result of this unique partnership is that of September 1, 2012 the current prod
ucts Liquid Rubber® SealRoof HighBuild S-200, MetalSafe HighBuild S-200 and CreteSafe HighBuild S-200 have been developped into one universal product that will be on the market from now on known as Griffon HBS-200. This product has the same characteristics as the previous produ
cts and will be available in pails of 1 and 5 liter. Larger pails will become available soon.
Bison International too, values quality and reliability and the DNA of our two organisations is a perfect match. We are happy to join forces with this professional partner.
Thanks to the expertise and experience of Bison International and the network they
have built over the years in the professional retail we expect to fulfil the needs of this segment concerning sales support, promotion and presentation even better than before.
This way, Liquid Rubber Europe can fully focus on the (international) industrial market and its projects.

Liquid Rubber® HB S-200 Industrial
As mentioned above, Liquid Rubber will be available per 1 September in the professional retail stores, known as Griffon HBS-200 Liquid Rubber.
Liquid Rubber Europe (LRE) will focus entirely on the industrial market. Targets are the large construction and contracting companies and contractors. Application of Liquid Rubber on these projects will be done by certified and trained applicators. They will mostly use the 2-components spray system, but also all coloured coatings (A-series) and the textured coatings (T-series).
But sometimes these larger projects too need products for restauration and repair, such as a universal sealant. To offer our applicators a complete assortiment we have adapted and further developed the former Liquid Rubber® HighBuild S-200 into a new product: Liquid Rubber® HB S-200 Industrial.
 This product will replace the former HighBuild S-200. The product has the same characteristics as its predecessor and adheres to all kinds of surfaces, from wood to plastics and from concrete to metal.
Liquid Rubber® HB S-200 Industrial is exclusively available for certified applicators and will not be available in the professional retail channel.

Green light for the Greenworks Academy
Liquid Rubber Europe participates in the Greenworks Academy of RaabKarcher. Greenworks is the umbrella concept for all sustainable building materials that have been selected from the large assortiment of this subsidiairy of the global organisation Saint Gobain.
To RaabKarcher sustainability is of the utmost importance. A sustainable company has a positive influence on the rest of the world and its future. This is why the company has developed the Greenworks concept.
How these products and materials are used within the total concept of sustainable construction is shown in the Greenworks Academy in Breda (NL). A real experience centre is built where everyone, from the architect to the independant contractor, can visit and retrieve information. In this centre, tailor-made presentations, trainings and courses will be organised.
From the first start, RaabKarcher has been a strong advocate of the Liquid Rubber® products and has believed in their added value with regards to sustainable construction. So it goes without saying that we are very pleased that we have been chosen to participate in this beautiful concept. We will keep you informed about the latest developments through our newsletter and our website and face-book page.

Each month we give you an update of one or more projects realised by our applicators. Some of them large (in surface or in liters), others smaller, but by doing so we want to share with you examples of the numerous possibilities for application. If you have questions about one of these projects, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Project : roof repair, Izegem (Belgium)
Applicator : VCL, Lokeren (Belgium)
Description of the project:
A six year old roof of a private residence in Izegem (Belgium) was in very bad shape. This resulted in early wear, the slate chippings came loose and the roof started to leak.
VCL, certified applicator of Liquid Rubber®, has performed a roof restauration with the following products:
First the roof was cleansed thoroughly and all loose particles were removed. Then all the seams, edges and transits to the skylights were coated with HighBuild S-200 and geotextile.
To ensure optimal adherence of the roof coating, a preliminary layer of SealRoof B-200 was applied with a roller. Then the 2-component SealRoof B-200 was spray-applied as waterproofing layer and on top two layers of SealRoof A-100 in the colour white were rolled on for reflection purposes.
The end result is a need, dry and sustainable white roof. Nice project, guys!
